"About Me"

 

Hi, My name is Esinu Marfo but I prefer to be called Esi. I was born and raised in Ghana. I moved to United States at the age of 15, currently I live in Snellville. I graduated from North Clayton High School which I got admitted into Gwinnett College majoring in Computer Science. I would also love to further in midwifery and start working after College. 

I’m passionate about Midwifery due to the rampant incidents of women dying from pregnancy and during childbirth. Last year, one of my favorite female YouTubeber "NicoleThea" died whiles giving birth, I was dolorous upon hearing the news but also it challenged me to focus and work harder to achieve my dreams. I am a humanitarianism, quiet and a shy type.  

I also have a YouTube channel to keep myself busy, share my views on things to my audience  and  it has really helped me a lot. I really like the editing part of my video's. I am not the type who really likes writing but whiles taking this class, I want to improve on my writing skills and also challenge myself to become a good writer and blogger. I hope to come out with a flying colors in this class. 

One of my weakness as a writer is sentence structuring, it has been a difficulty for me. Therefore I would say I am not a good writer. But as I said taking this class will help me enhance on my writing skills to become a good writer and blogger.

Self-Assessment

SELF-ASSESSMENT.   So far, I feel like I am doing a great job in this class and also with my blogs. Whiles taking this class I want to improve on my writing and with the every week blog we write is really helpful. Researching for information's is the stressful part for me because I have to find accurate fact about the country or whatever I am writing on. But it is also somehow interesting because I learn a lot about different countries, their history, culture, cuisine and many more. I put a lot of effort in writing my blogs because at the end of the day, it will be scored so I have to put in a lot of work to get a good grade. I really do procrastinate a lot which I am not proud of it but at least I try my possible best to do all my assignment and submit it before the due date. For me to get a high grade, I need to put in more effort by checking my grammar, punctuations and also following the activity rubric.
