A Place You Will Love To Visit (Saint Barthelemy)



Saint Barthelemy, which can also be called St. Bart's or St. Barths is an overseas collectivity of France in the Caribbean. Saint Barts measures 2. 5 miles by 11 or 8 squares which makes it the smallest island in the Caribbean. The capital and the largest city of St. Barts is Gustavia. St. Barts has three official languages which are French, Saint-Barthelemy French, and Antillean Creole. Fun Fact: "the Island was named by Christopher for his younger brother Bartholomew Columbus".  
If you are a U.S citizen before you can travel to St. Barts you must have a passport or a birth certificate with a photo ID including a return or ongoing plane ticket to enter St. Barts. During this coronavirus era, visitor who are age 10+ must present a negative COVID-19 PRC test within 3 days prior to your arrival in St. Barts. After getting all the requirement, you're set to go for your vacation and enjoy.
The climate change in St. Barts is good for growing fruits, salts, cotton, and livestock. Also tourism is one of their main source of income. Many people travels to St. Barts because of their beautiful beaches, flavored dishes, terraced villas and luxury hotels. They have a carnival celebrated earlier before Ash Wednesday. Most often people start celebrating after New Year's Day. Also on Ash Wednesday everyone put on white and black dresses burning of King Vaval which marks the end of the carnival. They have music festivals. 
You can visit places like Gustavia which is the capital.  It is a small harbor town and the best place for shopping. Beaches like Lorient, Colombier, Kitesurfing at Grand Cul de Sac, Saline, St. Jean, Gouverneur and Flamands are also nice places to visit. Along side the beaches they also have a fishing village called Corossol but sometimes called "straw village". They also have a red and white lighthouse that was built on the site in 1961 called Fort Gustave. 
West Indian cuisine, steamed vegetables with fresh fish in the common dishes which comes with spring roll of shrimp and bacon, fresh grilled lobster, Chinese noodle salad with coconut milk, and grilled beef fillet and many more.

  1. Your blog post meet the criteria requirements by correctly adding the required amount of images and successfully talking about Saint Barthelemy. Only thing that need work is that you don't forget to add your sources. I liked that you added facts and rules about Covid-19 there in Saint Barthelemy. I also enjoyed learning about Saint Barthelemy because I had never heard of it. I recommend that you keep up the good work and move the images so that it fits in between the writing.
